Punjabi clothing

Hassan is a Pakistani driver working with Richard. He’s 23 years old and has been in KSA for 8 months now. His Dad has been in Al-Jubail for 37 years already, and only goes to Pakistan once every year. Hassan’s mum, brother and 2 sisters still live in Pakistan, in a city of the Punjab province.

How’s life in Pakistan? – It’s a very good life! It’s a free country!
Why do so many Pakistani come to KSA, I guess because of work? – Yes ma’am, the problem is our government is corrupt! (Wow this rings a bell!)
Is there much violence there – which is the impression we get from the media? – No ma’am, only at the border, all the rest of the country is at peace.

Hassan misses Pakistan a lot, its way of life, and the girlfriend he left there! He’s very keen on promoting his country, so that when I asked him what kind of clothing the Pakistani use, he told me he’d show me a picture, and then I didn’t hear anything else during weeks, until one day he arrived with a nice present: a couple of Pakistani salwar kameez
which his mum had bought for us and given to his dad as he came back to KSA after his vacation.

The pictures don’t show, but the fabrics contain silk
and they’re actually very soft and comfortable.
